Tom's birthday was on Monday this week and we celebrated by going to a restaurant in Washington DC called Founding Farmers. Tom had been there a couple times before for some work and school events, but it was my first time. I loved it! Especially their bathrooms - they were so nice!! I wish I had taken a picture. The food they serve can be described as American farm food I guess? Anyways, it was fresh and tasted great! We got some mini cheeseburgers as appetizers, and then Tom got a lemonade, meatloaf, potatoes and broccolini and I got a grilled cheese, tomato soup and green beans. Yum! We made a stop to get our favorite muffins from Whole Foods before calling it a night. Happy birthday Tom! This is the fourth birthday I've been able to spend with you and I'm ready to celebrate at least 70 more :)
I ate there while in DC. It was delicious! I had a Chicken Pot Pie.
