Tom's graduation

I just have to brag a little and say I am so proud of Tom.  He worked hard this last year and a half and managed to keep up with a full-time school schedule and a full-time work schedule.  And he also completed the normally 2 year Master of Accountancy program in a year and a half even though his advisor and I kept telling him he couldn’t.  But now he gets to say I told you so and show off his little GWU luggage tag they gave him.  I guess George Washington University likes to give its graduates luggage tags instead of diplomas? Hopefully he gets the real deal in the mail soon.

It was a fun weekend!  Tom's sister and brother-in-law, Addie and Jamey, came out from Ohio, and my brother Tyler happened to be in DC for a BYU thing.  Since my mom lives out here now, she was able to come too.  The ceremony was loooooong but the thought of juicy steaks awaiting us for dinner kept us all going.  After the graduation, we metro’d back to our apartment and had a bbq and cake and hung out for the rest of the night.
