Next we drove out to Southern UT to visit my family. My mom threw a baby shower for me at our house in Toquerville. We got SO many things (our baby boy will not go naked!) and I loved seeing all my friends and family that I hadn’t seen for a long time. It was a good thing Tom thought of bringing an extra suitcase!
The next day, Kendall flew back from his two year mission in Sapporo, Japan and we all welcomed him home at the St. George airport. He seemed the same to me after two years, just a little more soft spoken. Tom left to go to Florida for a training that night, but I was able to stay for the whole weekend and go to Kendall's homecoming talk and spend some more time with family.
I loved our vacation and it cured me of my desert homesickness..for a little while. Can't wait to go back and visit again!
