Gray's first haircut

Grayson finally got his first haircut at 16 months old. It was much-needed, too. My mom cut it while I distracted him with Barney. It actually worked really well, until the end when he kind of figured out what we were doing. He moved his head and got a little nick on the ear, and we were pretty much done after that. My mom wanted to layer the top a little more but I was just happy to have the mullet off. Now he looks like a little boy! No more mistaking my handsome man for a little girl ;)

Family Pictures

My sister-in-law Sharon took these pictures of us while she was visiting during Thanksgiving. I'm so lucky to have such a talented sister! Lymans November 2014. Grayson is 13 months old.

I love Grayson's face here

Christmas 2014

For Christmas we decided to go visit family back in Toquerville and Las Vegas. It was a long and much needed trip. I went out a little earlier than Tom and headed out to Toquerville to spend time with my family. All three of my brothers and their families were there and it was the first time we had all three cousins together! We all went to the live Nativity in Tuacahn and then went to church together the next day.  We spent the next few days getting ready for Christmas, shopping, and visiting friends. Christmas morning was spent in Toquerville, too. Here's some pictures.

After breakfast we loaded up the car and headed to Las Vegas to spend the rest of Christmas day with Tom's family. We ate dinner at his Aunt Lynne's house and spent time with family that we hardly ever get to see. We celebrated our Christmas with his family a couple days later after his sister Addie and her family arrived. Here's our second Christmas morning.

We stayed in Vegas until after New Years. We were hoping for warm weather but ended up being there one of the coldest weeks of the year! Here's some pictures from Opportunity Village.

haha candid!

Festival of Lights

We've been living in the Washington DC area for 3 years now and FINALLY made it to the Washington DC Temple Annual Festival of Lights. The lights and temple were gorgeous and Grayson loved running around in front of the temple.

After we looked at the lights we met up with the Daly family to watch the Jenny Oaks Baker concert in the Visitors Center amphitheater. I teach piano to their two boys, and one of the boys is taking violin now so I thought he'd really enjoy the concert. It was fun! They loved the concert and looking at all the lights and trees. I can't wait to again next year.
